Rehearsals are underway and going well for our Spring production of ‘Allo ‘Allo. It’s going to be a brilliant show and tickets will be available soon on the Waterman’s website (www.watermans.org.uk).
Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once (hopefully)…we are still searching for men to be in ‘Allo ‘Allo. If you are interested, please come to the auditions which are on Thursday (8 – 10pm) in The Mission Hall (TW8 0SD). Please don’t feel daunted by the audition, it’s all quite low key. You will just need to read/act part of the script to Alan Ward, who is our very nice Director.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings (8-10pm) and Sunday afternoons (2.30 – 4.30pm). The show is on the 6th-8th June in The Watermans Theatre in Brentford and it’s going to be BRILLIANT! The script is really funny and it’s definitely going to be a lot of fun to do.
If you have not been to the Mission Hall before, it can be a bit tricky to find. The easiest way is to go down Netley Road (where you can usually park after 8pm) and, just where the road starts to bend round, you’ll see an alleyway called ‘Mission Square’. Go down there and we’re in the hall in the square.
We love to have new members and welcome anyone who wants to join in, whether they have acted, or helped backstage before. Enthusiasm is the key! So don’t feel shy, come along and have a go! Also, please spread the word to all the men you know who might be interested. You can contact me through this website or through the St Faith’s Players FB page.
PLEASE NOTE: Audition dates for ‘Allo ‘Allo have changed! We are auditioning on Thursday 24th January at The Mission Hall, Brentford, TW8 0SD at 8pm and NOT on Wednesday 23rd! Otherwise please come along, we’d love to see you!
Script read-through dates remain as Wednesday 16th (8pm) and 20th Jan (2.30pm) at the Mission Hall. Please come along to register your interest and look at the script. Please don’t feel daunted about the audition; you don’t need to do a ‘party piece’ or something from Shakespeare, you will just be asked to read one of the audition pieces you chose when you came to one of the read-throughs. You can decide which part you would like to audition for. We’re very friendly and want to encourage you to come along whether you have experience of acting or not.
We are performing ‘Allo ‘Allo on the 6th-8th June in the Waterman’s Theatre in Brentford. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings (8pm) and Sunday afternoons (2.30pm) all in The Mission Hall.
Calling all budding and fully flowering actors and backstage crew to take part in our spring production of ‘Allo ‘Allo which we will be performing on the 6th-8th June 2019 at The Waterman’s Theatre in Brentford (www.watermans.org.uk/) . This hugely enjoyable comedy is written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, the same team who created the long running BBC show set in a cafe in German occupied France during WWII and is arguably one of the most popular shows we’ve ever done. So it’s going to be really fun and we hope you will come along and take part.
To register your interest and to read through the script with us, please come on either Wednesday the 16th Jan (8pm) or Sunday the 20th Jan (2.30pm) to The Mission Hall, Mission Square, Brentford TW8 0SD. Auditions will take place on Thursday 24th January at 8pm also at the Mission Hall. Everyone is welcome whether you have acting experience or not and we have many opportunities to help backstage if acting is not your thing (current annual membership is £40 per adult). Please note however: we are not casting anyone under the age of 16 years to take part in this production. We will be doing a Children’s Workshop (for those under 16) later on in the year.
Well done to everyone who was involved and worked so hard to make this year’s pantomime Aladdin such a rip-roaring success. It was brilliant fun and all our audiences absolutely loved it. It was particularly great to have so many new members join us both on and off stage. Thank you, everyone!
If you came to see us and fancy being involved, please keep an eye out for casting dates for our new productions throughout the year.
Current annual membership subscription: £40 adults/£15 children.
