Welcome to 2018

Panto, Christmas and New Year celebrations are now done and dusted.
Below is a short message from our brilliant director and a message to the group via Andrea.  It seemed everyone loved the Panto, many saying it was the best we’ve ever performed.  More pictures can be found on the gallery page (or click on Dick below)

Hi everyone I had a lovely day at work on Monday. So many children from st Paul’s went to the panto and all loved it. The assembly must have done a good job !!! I even got a bouquet of flowers from a staff member who went and said we gave her one of the best nights of her life. I had a blast thanks everyone

Andrea xx

Watermans, Here We Come

This time next week (Sunday 26th) we will begin setting up the stage ready for the first performance of Dick Whittington, on Friday 1st December. Keep checking the countdown on the right.

The set is painted and ready - well almost.  There are always some last minute items to make and paint, this year will be no different. It’s been a challenge in the limited space of our new workshop.

Lines are learnt and the cast are well rehearsed and raring to go.

The costumes are stitched, pressed  and looking great, the complexities of not having the full wardrobe to hand when rehearsals are taking place has been overcome.

Props are made or sourced, from elaborate hats to pirate swords.

Music, sound and lighting is planned and ready to take its place in theatre.

It will be fantastic when all the elements finally come together in one space for the first time

It’s not too late to book tickets at the Watermans Box Office.

We are extremely pleased to announce that we will have a new Director for this very special year – Alan Ward – he’s a `Brentford Boy’ who studied dance, drama and film and went on to a professional career in education.  He was the Director of the Celebration Theatre Company at St Paul’s and specialises in Musical Theatre.  At the Beck Theatre he directed the Heston & Isleworth Gang Shows with over 150 children and adults so he’s used to crowds!

There is something for everyone, from chaperoning the younger cast members, set painting and ticket sales to costumes and security, choreography and props, dramatic acting to slapstick comedy!  So please come along, we are anticipating an outstanding, exciting, colourful and professional production with opportunities for everyone to take part.
